James Clear believes that, "the best way to change the world is in concentric circles: start with yourself and work your way out from there." He is best know for his best selling book

Atomic Habits which is highly rated as one of the best business books in 2018.

He has a new book, Tiny Habits: The Small Changes that Change Everything coming out this December. Having read all of his research that I can find, I will definitely add this to my collection.

Business Icons

There is much wisdom to be found in watching business icons related their unique insights on the world. Here are a few that I have learned from.

Steve Jobs is best know for his role in creating Apple Computer. In many ways he never followed what he would refer to as the accepted "dogma" of business. There is much to learn from studying his life and business practices. The lessons are both good and bad which underscores the notion that great success comes with failures along the way.

Mastery

Mastery is about the journey to becoming the best version of yourself that you can be. It is an elusive goal because the better you become at what you are able to accomplish, the ability to achieve even more becomes visible. The foundation of success is to understand that it a journey not a destination. This is a key mental model for those who wish to maximize the prosperity they achieve.

Robert Greene

Robert Greene is the author of New York Times bestsellers The 48 Laws of Power, The Art of Seduction, The 33 Strategies of War, The 50th LawMastery, and The Laws of Human Nature. These books describe numerous mental models that contain many useful mental models to attain personal mastery.

Success

Success is what we all want to achieve. However we each have a personal definition of what success is. A common element of success is to have the freedom to pursue what gives us the most satisfaction out of life. There is a strong correlation between money and success. Money can buy you the freedom to use your time how you would like to spend it, rather than spending your time to acquire so that you can survive.

Values Based Leadership

The idea that you should live life according to your values. As the leader of your company your values should provide direction, inspiration, and motivation that is ultimately expressed as the culture of your organization.
